First of all, let me say that I used an older formulation of this product. It seems that Simoniz has undergone some recent packaging changes. Another thing you’ll notice is that the product is labeled a ceramic sealant.

This spray is apparently pitched as a protection for your wax or ceramic coating. That said, it provides up to 30 days of protection. You can see the silver project car (Mazda 3) results. Depending on weather and application prep, this product seemed to hold up pretty well to the company’s 30 day claim.

The example car had dulling clear coat, and as you can see, the Simoniz spray provided a nice shine.

To apply, I sprayed an area and used a microfiber sponge to spread evenly across the surface. After some drying time, I buffed it with a microfiber towel (reviewed).

As usual, this project is a weekender “quick-and-dirty” solution. There was no extensive prepping or buffing, but why would you do that to apply a product at this price point? That makes this all very accessible, and I like that. I have been using it for about a year.
