I recently replaced my cup holder cell phone holder with this product. I found that these days, my hand sanitizer occupies one cup holder. The other one has this product, giving me an extra cup holder!
You have to find a way to make it work for you. I will say that you have to avoid placing too much weight in the new floating space, or it will fall over. At least that has been my experience.
The floating part is finished with a carbon fiber texture, which fits the pattern inside my sedan. The anchor cup is slightly smaller. You could use this for smaller cans, loose change, keys or other items.
